We had a great afternoon on Wednesday 30th July 2016 at Liverpool John Moores University hosting pupils from schools from across Merseyside (Kirkby High, Mosslands, Woodchurch High, Holy Family High, Cardinal Heenan, Litherland High and St Anselms College) as part of an outreach and public engagement activity organised in collaboration with the Bone Research Society.
We had 4 works stations set up that the children visited one after the other, where they then took part in lots of cool experiments, including this one here which is designed to show what bone is made up of and why it is important that we have a healthy diet full of calcium and protein!!
